Olisa Metuh granted N300m bail for allegedly tearing his EFCC statement

After being granted 400m bail for a previous charge of money laundering and corruption , a Federal High Court in Abuja today granted PDP's National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, N300 million bail over allegations of destroying a statement he wrote in the EFCC head office.

Metuh pleaded not guilty to the accusation. The presiding judge, Justice Ishaq Bello, then granted him bail in the sum of N300m and two sureties in like sum. 

He is facing a separate trial relating to the N2.1 billion arms deal fraud.
