Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former Ogun State Governor has debunked claims that he is planning to quit Peoples Democratic Party for Social Democratic Party. Daniel said this in a statement signed by his media aide, Mr. Ayo Giwa in Abeokuta on Friday.
The statement read “It is mere speculation with no iota of truth. I remain in the PDP and nothing has changed.” He admonished all his supporters to remain calm, steadfast and work assiduously towards the success of all PDP candidates as presented by the National Working Committee (NWC) at the forthcoming polls. He added that he is busy perfecting strategies to ensure that President Goodluck Jonathan has an impressive showing in Ogun State and entire Southwest Geo-political zone.
