Indication emerged on Tuesday that another actress, Funke Adesiyan, has broken the ‘primaries jinx’ in the ongoing elections. Adesiyan contested in the Oyo State House of Assembly primary of the All People’s Congress and won. She has thus followed in the footsteps of Desmond Elliot, who also won the APC primary for the House of Assembly in Lagos.
